In Their Own Voice

A gentle conversation preserved for the people they love

A quiet optional service offered by Letters That Last, supporting families who wish to preserve a loved one’s voice memories or messages in a simple respectful way.

What is this

In Their Own Voice is a private guided audio conversation for patients who want to share something meaningful in their own words.

The session is unhurried patient led and handled entirely outside of clinical care.

There is no preparation required and no pressure to perform or complete anything.

The conversation is professionally recorded and becomes a personal audio keepsake and written summary the family can hold onto.

About the facilitator

My name is Kary Youman.

I help people tell their life stories and preserve their voice with care and presence.

My work is focused on listening well staying within clear boundaries and creating something families can return to long after the moment has passed. I work remotely with families in the United States and Europe.

Some families like to preserve a loved one’s voice or memories. There is a gentle guided option available if this feels supportive. It is completely optional and handled outside of clinical care.
